"Missing Man" Tables on Veterans Day 2018

We understand that our freedom is not free and wanted to acknowledge the service of our veterans.  A number of our restaurants set up a table honoring our veterans. 

In addition our DQ locations treated our veterans to a Medium Blizzard, and our Bojangles' treated our veterans to a Cajun Filet Combo on Veteran's Day.

Changing Lives through Donation Boxes At Dairy Queen

Through the community's donations your local Dairy Queen stores raised $686 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in August 2018.

The hallmark of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is that 100 percent of funds raised remain local at the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and pediatric units at Carilion Children’s Hospital.

Thank you for your continued support in changing the lives of children in our area!

Bojangles' Football Night at Franklin Co. High School
October 4, 2018

Bojangles' was proud to sponsor the Franklin County Eagles Football Game on Friday September 28th.  

The event consisted of a Bojangles' Photo Booth. The first 100 fans that visited the photo booth received a Bojangles' 'BO Time' foam finger. Additionally, the first 2,000 fans through the gates received a Bojangles' Gift Card valued at $1 - $100.  

Bojangles' greatly appreciates their partnership with Franklin County High School and their athletic programs.

Miracle Treat Day 2018

Arrington Management Group wants to thank the community for their support during the Summer of Miracles Campaign. Through this campaign $18,000 was generated to go to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. These funds will stay local and go directly to the care of children in this community. This wouldn't have been possible without the community's support. Thank you Franklin County!

Arrington Management Group Kicks Off a Summer of Miracles!

Arrington Management Group's (AMG) Management Team had the wonderful opportunity to tour Carilion Children's Hospital, a Children's Miracle Network Hospital, on June 21st. This tour allowed the management team to see what Children Miracle Network funds purchase and the difference donations make for the children seen at Carilion Children's.
This tour kick starts AMG's summer donation programs to benefit Children's Miracle Network. During the month of July all AMG locations will have boxes at the drive-thru windows collecting donations. Also, during the month of July all Dairy Queen locations will be participating in a round-up campaign in which all customer will be asked to donate the difference between their total purchase, and the next nearest dollar.  Additionally, all Dairy Queen locations will be selling Miracle Balloons now through Miracle Treat Day on August 2nd. These balloons are a $1 donation and have $2 worth of coupons attached! The summer donations programs will wrap up with Miracle Treat Day. On Thursday August 2nd, a $1 from every Blizzard sold will be donated. All funds collected during these events will go directly to support local children at Carilion Children's, Centra Lynchburg General, and Virginia Baptist Hospitals.

AMG will also be hosting a Miracle Treat Day even on Thursday August 2nd at Faith Fellowship Church. This event will be a FREE event with food, inflatables, live music, and more. Donations will be accepted for all activities and 100% of all funds raised will go to support Children's Miracle Network.

Local Heroes Get a Cool Treat from Dairy Queen

Dairy Queen along with The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is praising Ferrum Elementary students for springing into action after their school bus crashed in March.

During the crash the student's bus driver broke her arm and finger. The students checked on the bus driver and took the lead to safely assist other students off the bus.

These young heroes were rewarded for their bravery with a Dairy Queen Blizzard treat!

Bojangles' Raises Funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association through the 2018 Shamrocks Campaign

April 23, 2018

Through the generous donations from our community, Arrington Management Group's Bojangles' locations at Marketplace Drive, Virgil H Goode Hwy, and Lakewatch Center Drive were able to raise $16,761 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) through the 2018 Shamrocks Campaign! 

One hundred percent of the funds raised this year will support week-long MDA Summer Camp experiences for children with neuromuscular disease.MDA Summer Camp offers a wide range of activities specifically designed for children who have limited mobility or use wheelchairs.

Tiny Miss Franklin County and Tiny Miss Smith Mountain Lake Ice Cream Social at Dairy Queen

The 40 West Dairy Queen hosted an ice cream social for the Tiny Miss Franklin County and the Tiny Miss Smith Mountain Lake Pageant. The pageant participants each are treated to ice cream at DQ that they get to make themselves.

This social gave the 31 participants time to  to socialize with with each other. Thank you to the Tiny Miss Association for allowing Dairy Queen to be a continued host of their ice cream social.

Dairy Queen Raises Funds for CMN on Free Cone Day
March 26, 2018

On Tuesday, March 20th, all of AMG's Dairy Queen locations celebrated the first day of spring by participating in Free Cone Day. All donations collected on that day went directly to Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals that provide care for children in our community.

Thanks to the generous donations of our fans we were able to raise $1,190 for our local CMN Hospitals, Carilion Roanoke Memorial, Centra Virginia Baptist, and Centra Lynchburg General hospitals.

Through the community's donations your local Dairy Queen stores raised $295.14 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in December 2017.

In our region, funds raised by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals provides lifesaving medical equipment and services for the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and pediatric units at Carilion Children’s Hospital.  Each year, over 5,500 hospitalized children and 29,000 children visiting Carilion Children’s 17 specialty outpatient clinics benefit from the money raised by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

The hallmark of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is that 100 percent of funds raised remain local to enable our hospital to provide miracles of health and healing for local babies and children.

Bojangles' Hosts 'Bojangles' Night' at Franklin County Girls Basketball Game

At Friday night's Franklin County girls varsity basketball game you could find local high school students showing off their basketball skills during the Bojangles' Halftime Contest

Bojangles' gave out gift cards to every attendee at both the JV and Varsity games. Every gift card had at least a $1 and one lucky attendee received a $100 gift card! Congratulations to Jalen Jamison, the winner of the $100 gift card!

The students participated in a contest that required them to run down the court, make a lay up, and get back to a seat at half court before their peers. The catch was there was always one less seat then there were people! Congratulations to Jackson Norton who won a cajun filet biscuit a week every week for a year!

At Friday night's Franklin County boys varsity basketball game you could find local high school students showing off their basketball skills during the Bojangles' Halftime Contest.

The students participated in a contest that required them to run down the court, make a lay up, and get back to a seat at half court before their peers. The catch was there was always one less seat then there were people! Congratulations to Graham Law who won a cajun filet biscuit a week every week for a year!

Bojangles' also gave out gift cards to every attendee at both the JV and Varsity games. Every gift card had at least a $1 and one lucky attendee received a $100 gift card!

The Lakewatch Bojangles' hosted Dudley Elementary School's Kids Night where from 5-8pm 20% of all sales went to Dudley's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). This event raised $220 for the school's PTO.
