Community members turned out in impressive numbers for the recent Coffee with the Mayor event, held at the Bojangles on MarketPlace Drive. The gathering offered residents a relaxed setting to meet and talk with Holland Perdue, Mayor of Rocky Mount, while enjoying complimentary coffee donated by Bojangles. The event created a welcoming environment for open dialogue. Mayor Perdue spent the morning engaging directly with attendees, moving from table to table to listen, answer questions, and discuss topics important to the Rocky Mount community. Residents shared thoughts on local projects, community improvements, and everyday concerns, while many also appreciated the chance to simply enjoy a friendly conversation with their mayor. The streets of Rocky Mount came alive with festive cheer during this year’s Christmas Parade, and AMG was there, spreading holiday magic! AMG’s float was decked out in full Christmas spirit, dazzling the crowd with bright decorations and plenty of smiles. Adding to the excitement, Big Bo the Chicken made a special appearance alongside AMG team members, joined by beloved holiday characters including the Grinch, snowmen, gingerbread man, and reindeer. Parade-goers were treated to coupons for free products from Dairy Queen and Bojangles, and enough candy to make anyone’s belly ache with joy!
